Obituary

Lee A. Hill, Sr. was born on March 7, 1934 to the late Benton and Nanny Hill in Houston, MS.  He was the fifth of nine children born of this union.

In his earlier years, Lee was trained as a carpenter with his brothers.  Lee later joined the army on October 2, 1953 until his honorable discharge on September 22, 1956.

Lee married Lillie V. Robinson in Mississippi where three of their children were born.  They eventually moved to Chicago, IL where the last two of their children were born.

Lee worked for the aerosol company, Demert & Dougherty, for several years.  Playing the piano was his talent which he used it to play for a host of churches in Mississippi and Chicagoland area.  Lee also played for the Isabelle Joseph Johnson Rock of Ages Show on Sunday mornings at WVON AM Radio Chicago.

Lee returned to Mississippi in the late 70's, where he lived and played the piano for several area churches until his passing at Delta Regional Hospital in Greenville, Mississippi.
