Mr. L.C. Taylor III, the fourth of ten children, was born March 1, 1950 to L.C. and Beatrice Taylor in Shaw, MS. He was educated in the Shaw Public Schools and worked as a supervisor for over 30 years. In 1972, he married Mildred Thompson and to this union two children were born. He was a member of New Hope Church where he faithfully served as Sunday school teacher and assistant pastor. He was a unique person. He loved playing checkers and working on cars. Minister L.C. Taylor went home to be with his Lord and Saviour-Jesus Christ on August 10, 2014 at Greenwood Leflore Hospital in Greenwood, MS.
