Larry Lee Sims, affectionately known as "Bone", was born on December 22, 1961 in Cleveland, Mississippi to the late Elonzy and Pearline Sims.

Larry was the fifth of seven children.  Two siblings preceded him in death, Gwendolyn and Arthur.

Larry accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal savior at an early age and was baptized by the late Reverend Hughes at Pleasant Ridge Missionary Baptist Church in Cleveland, Mississippi.

Larry graduated from B.L. Bell Grammar School in Boyle, MS and attended East Side High School in Cleveland, MS.

Larry was united in holy matrimony to the late Christine Ann Emerson Sims.

Larry was employed as a professional tree trimmer and enjoyed carpentry work and painting.
