Born on July 6, 1989 to the parents of Emma Thomas and Michael Stokes, she was a beloved daughter, sister, friend, and mother who touched countless lives with her radiant smile, generous spirit, and unwavering faith. From a young age, Kwamaneisha had an unbreakable spirit, an inspiring determination, and a compassionate heart that made her a light to everyone around her. She grew up in Ruleville, MS where she was known for her kindness, laughter, and the joy she brought to every room she entered.
Kwamaneisha was a graduate of Ruleville Central High School. In her free time, she loved to spend quality time with her daughter and family. She enjoyed cheering and gathering at family functions where she can laugh, listen to her favorite songs and be around the people she love. Outside of her career, Neisha spent quality time with her siblings, family and close friends. No matter the day or time she always tried to be there for family and friends. She dedicated time to uplifting others. Friends and family often recall her contagious laughter, gentleness, outgoing spirit and the countless ways she showed up for others in their times of need.
Above all, Kwamaneisha cherished her family. She was a devoted mother to D'Arveon Price who was the light of her life, and she shared an unbreakable bond with siblings and close family. Her family meant everything to her, and her legacy of love, resilience, and compassion lives on in them.
Kwamaneisha leaves behind her daughter (D'Arveon Price) Parents (Emma Thomas & Michael Stokes), Sisters (Mikayla Thomas and La'Gracie Thomas, Ashley Gordon and Jewel Jackson. Brother (Cortea Jones) Neices/Nephews (Mikasia Hollins, Ja'Nylah Davis, Mikeivious Thomas and Ja'Melia Lee. Special Aunt (Joyces Johnson) Loved ones (Lamarcus, Jarvis, Juanjada, and Roslyn Sanders) Grandmother (Juanita Thomas) Special Friends (Courtney Covington, Tonquanika Covington, Evelyn Jurlds, Virandesha Hardy, and Retina Jurlds. A host of family and friends who will forever cherish her memory. Her passing leaves a void in our hearts, yet we are comforted knowing her spirit will continue to guide and inspire us.
