Obituary

Kelvin Bernard Adams was born January 29, 1984 to Ethel Mae Adams Cain and the late Kelvin Sanders.  He departed this life on February 11, 2024.  He was the only boy of 3 children.  Kelvin accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Union Grove M.B. Church in Merigold, MS.  At the young age of eight months, he was given the name Big Time by his father!

Bigtime moved to Minnesota when he was just 16 years old where he attended Red Wing High School in Red Wing Minnesota.  He later graduated from culinary arts school in St. Paul, MN.  He has always had a love for cooking and loved to feed everyone.  His favorite NFL team was the Dallas Cowboys.  Bigtime has always had a love for the outdoors!  Some of his hobbies included cooking, fishing, hunting, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.  In 2006 his first child was conceived! He was so happy to become a father.  In 2007, at the young age of 21 years old he opened his very first music studio, Destiny Records Ent., in St. Paul, Minnesota.  He traveled across the world performing, hosting shows, building and creating artists and living out his brand DRE until his passing!  It's Destiny Baby!

In 2012, he graduated from construction school in St. Paul, MN.  In 2014, he started Adams & Sons Trucking and a few years later in 2019, he started Rapid Constructions in Beaumont, Texas.  He was a jack of all trades.  Bigtime was a name he lived up too!  He was not just a son, father, brother, cousin, nephew, uncle, friend, leader, and beloved businessman, but also a beacon of love, hope and joy in our lives.  He cherished his family.  Kelvin is preceded in death by his fathers, Kelvin Sanders & Levon Cain; Grandfather Ed Adams, Brother, Terrell Bailey, and a special cousin Temarquis "Lela Boy" Adams.

He leaves to cherish his mother Ethel Adams Cain Russell, three sons, Kelvin Adams, Jr., Addison Adams (Red Wing, MN), two sisters, Lashonda Adams (Detroit, MI), and Shavon Adams (Horn Lake, MS), a bonus sister, Pamela Anderson (Sunflower, MS), two brothers, Kelvin Baily (North Carolina) and Lazantium Johnson (Memphis, TN) a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
