Justina Vaughn was born July 4, 1957 in Shaw, MS to the late Frank and Eliza Vaughn. She accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at Pleasant Ridge M.B. Church under the leadership of the late Rev. Johnny Hughes Sr. In 2009 she united with the New Life Church under the leadership of Bishop Roderick and Pastor Mary Mitchell, where she served as a member of the Choir, Children Church Ministry and Women of Worship Ministry. Justina remained a loyal and faithful member until she departed this life on October 16, 2013. Justina attended McEvans Elementary in Shaw, MS. In 1976, she graduated from East Side High. She continued her education at Coahoma Jr. College, Mississippi Delta Community College and graduated from Delta State University in 2002. She was employed with the Mississippi Department of Corrections as Administrative Assistance for 20 years.
