Joyce Metra Fields-Sansing, age 63, of Mound Bayou, MS transitioned to be with the Lord on May 5, 2020.

Joyce was born August 22, 1956 to the late Laura Davis of Mound Bayou, MS.  After graduating from John F. Kennedy Memorial High School, she attended Coahoma Community College and Alcorn State University.  With a natural desire to serve, she worked as a dental assistant store manager and a substitute teacher.  Joyce was known for her candor, her sense of humor, and her fashion sense.  She is preceded in death by her mother, Laura, and two sisters; Gwendolyn and Patricia.

She leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Terry Sansing, three daughters, Latarja Fields-Ford, Zakiyo Jackson (Greg), and Jocelyn Ratliff (Brian); three cherished grandchildren, Danielle Fields, Jalen Ford, and Brianna Ratliff; five beloved sisters, Irene Fields, Shirley Fields, Sandra Carmicle, Chelia Fields, Levora Fields, Troy Fields (Leapher), and Lopez Fields and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
