Joseph Thomas, Jr. was born July 14, 1947 to the union of the late James (Joseph Thomas) Link and the late Caledonia Matthews. He was the second child of twenty children.
Joe, as some called him, was well known in the community as "Left-Hand Joe". He loved nature and gardening vegetables. He loved wearing hats and was very friendly and caring. Most of all, he was a baptized believer in Jesus Christ.
