Obituary

Mr. Joseph "Joe-boy" Lambert, was born on August 2, 1963 to the late Mrs. Carolyn Fleming Williams & the late Mr. Willie Jackson, Sr. at Bolivar Medical Center in Cleveland, MS.  He was preceded  in death by one brother, Willie Jackson, Jr. and two sister, Elizabeth Jackson and Elcye McCoy.

He confessed a hope in Christ at an early age at the Bold Pilgrim M.B. Church, Beulah, MS under the leadership of Pastor Ludy Williams.

"SPECIAL JOURNEY OF LIFE'

Joseph was a dedicated and dutiful employee of CIVES steel, Rosedale, MS, doing sheet metal and welding, where he was a dedicated and dependable worker, he wouldn't miss work, later on in life he moved to Chicago, IL where he worked as Assistant Manager at Shadows Steel Mill, Villa Park, IL for 3 years, then he was promoted to an Asst Director at National Casting for blue-prints & welding for 10 1/2 years in Melrose, Park, IL.  He was a member of the Distant Rider Motorcycle Club & a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Q-Dog.  In 2009 he became ill and relocated to Cleveland, Mississippi with his sister, Paula Lambert, where he had a long journey with a lengthy illness.  Joseph fought a good fight of faith, and he finished his earthly course on January 31, 2022 at Bolivar Medical Center, Cleveland, Mississippi.

Joseph leaves to cherish his precious memories, one (1) son, who was such a blessing to his father, who showed so much compassion, care, love and devotion of time to his father, Joseph Kendell Lambert of Pace, MS, he was also blessed to have unconditional love of his sister, who showed him compassion, had so much passion, gentleness, she was very attentive to the self-care, self-less giving of her time, she was his long time loving, caring, personal care-giver, she did everything within her power to make sure he received the very best of care, without grumbling and complaining, she refused to entrust his care to a nursing care facility, Paula Lambert of Cleveland, MS.  He was also blessed to have the love,care and personal attention of care from his, Nephew & Niece-in-law Larry & (Marquitta) Lambert of Cleveland, MS.  A special step-father, Anthony Woodard of Cleveland, Mississippi.  He also leaves to cherish his precious memories, ten (10) other sisters,Jacqueline (Alfred) Kirkham, Cleveland, MS; Cathy (William) Fletcher, Chicago, IL; Earlene Fleming, Chicago, IL; Dorothy Parker, (GA); Shamise McCoy, (AZ); Stephanie Jackson, (GA); Jennifer Pugh, (MS); Tymie Morrow, (IL); Shawanda Pearson, (GA); Patrice Sampson, (WI).

Joseph also leaves to cherish his precious memories, Eleven (11) brothers, Carter Fleming, Chicago, IL; Calvin James, Chicago, IL; Dwayne Morrow, Chicago, IL; Anthony Brown, Chicago, IL; Ronald Edwards, (AR); Mark Jackson, (OH); Quamiane Wallace, (IA); and Maurice James, Chicago, IL. He has a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, great-nieces, nephews, great-nephews, cousins, and other family members, and friends who loved him dearly. A very special and dear dedicated friend, Enray Turner, Rosedale, Mississippi.
