Joseph Lee Johnson, Jr. (Butch) was born December 01, 1960 to the late Joseph Johnson, Sr. and the late Emma Dee Johnson in Hushpuckna, MS.

Joseph accepted Christ as his personal savior and baptized at an early age.  He was a member of Mount Olive M.B. Church in Cleveland, MS under the leadership of Pastor Bobby Williams.  Joseph was a very caring and loving man who loved his family.

Joseph is preceded in death by his father, Joseph Johnson, Sr., his mother Emma Dee Johnson, 2 siblings, a brother Melvin Lewis Johnson and a sister Josie Mae Johnson.

Joseph leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife, Glennie Lee Johnson of Renova, MS. 5 step-children, 2 daughters, Evelyn (Michael) Givens of Merigold, MS, Stephanie Wilson of Memphis, TN, 3 sons, Mariyell (Nykebra) Davis of Cleveland, MS, Markita Page of Memphis, TN, Darrell McLuarin of Mound Bayou, MS; 6 sisters, Velma(Reginal) Jackson of Lawrence, KS, Pamela McCoy of Shelby, MS, Florence Scott of Kathleen, GA, Louise Beasley of Duncan, MS, Ethel Sigle and Evelyn Sigle both of Shelby, MS, 4 brothers, Patrick (Sharda) Johnson, Sr. of Shelby, MS, Leroy Sigle of Duncan, MS, Richard (Diane) Townsend of Merriville, IN, James Scott of Macon, GA, 1 aunt Mattie Chatman Scott of Shelby, MS, a Godfather, Rev.
