Johnny Earl Petty was born in Mound Bayou, MS, on April 27, 1970 to Johnnie and Mamie Malone. He departed this life on Friday, August 31, 2012. He acknowledged a trust in Christ at an early age. He was baptized at Wrights Chapel M.B. Church, where he served under the guidance of the late Reverend O.T. Thrash. Johnny was a hard worker and took pleasure in impacting individual existence in an optimistic way. He was an employee of Lazyboy of Leland, Mississippi.
