John Willie Nolden, Sr. was born to Walter (Nolan) Nolden and Lovie (Spearman) Nolden on April 12, 1927.  John Willis Nolden of Cleveland, MS passed away on July 11, 2025.

John obeyed Christ under the leadership of his brother, Reverend Henderson Nolden in Sunflower, MS.  He is preceded in death by his loving parents, Walter and Lovie Nolden; his brothers, Albert, Walter and Henderson Nolden; his sisters, Vircy, Jessie Bell, Lonnie Mae and Eliza Nolden; his daughters, Jeanette and Vanessa Nolden and a son, Robert Nolden.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his brother, James Nolden; his daughters, Eva Mae, Rose, Shelley and Walterine Nolden, Shundie and Marquita Kizart and Sylvia Russell; his sons, Willie, Jessie James and John Nolden, Jr. and a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren and other relatives and friends.

He also leaves to cherish special family members Euzelia Kizart, Lillie McKinney, Jessie Brown and Terry Taylor who went over and beyond to assist him with his everyday needs.
