John T Burnes was the 9th child born to Rose Lee Winfield Burnes and Joseph Leroy Burnes on July 22, 1956 in Cleveland,MS.

He preceded in death by his mother and father Mrs. Rose Lee Winfield Burnes and Mr. Joseph Leroy Burnes, five brothers Louis Burnes, Lonnie Burnes, Jeoseph Burnes Jr, and Willie Burnes.

He confessed his life to Christ at an early age. he had a passion for life and always enjoyed helping those around him. He was a man that love to work on the farm for 25 years. He believed in family and always tries to keep those around him encourage to do what was right. When retired he found himself enjoying his favorite pastime, watching TV and going to adult daycare.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife Elaine Scott; three daughters; Subrina Lewis (Paul) Memphis, TN; Lola Winter (Jap) Waterloo, IA; and Alfreda Lewis (Roy) Kentucky. Three sons; Albert Huff (Jill) Rosedale,MS; King Malone, Donny Lewis (Tori). Three sisters: Emma B. Farmer (Jimmy), Dorothy Burnes, and Helen Burnes his twin all of Cleveland,MS. He had 23 grandchildren and 4 great grand. A devoted friends Ida Mae Lewis, and Nigel Cartwright and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
