On June 21, 1973, John and Gloria Booker were blessed with an angel called John Lamont Booker. He accepted Jesus as his Savior at an early age at Temple Church of Christ in Ruleville under the leadership of Rev. Sanders. Lamont graduated from Eastside High School in 1991. He attended Mary Holmes College. He worked as a brick layer with his father and later was employed as a shipping-gap leader at Faurecia until he departed this earthly life on Sunday, May 12, 2013.
