Obituary

Jermaine Jackson, known as "Lil Bud" was born on September 3, 1975 in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Ruth Jackson and Earl Hammonds.

He attended Mt. Olive M.B. Church in Shaw, Mississippi.  His early educational years were spent at McEvans Elementary School in Shaw, Mississippi.  After completing his elementary education, he attended Shaw High School in Shaw, Mississippi.

Later in life, Jermaine became a full-time caregiver for his mother, Ruth.  After the death of his mother, Jermaine and his brothers Tracy and Michael became really close.  Even though they all lived in different states they always made time to talk to each other.  Jermaine loved his entire family from the Western Shores to the Eastern Shores; from the Midwest to the South.  He enjoyed spending time with his Aunt Rine, Cousin Earl Crockett, nieces, nephews, and cousins.  His cousins called him their little cousin.  He would attend school events and games with his little cousins.  They were the joy of his life.

Jermaine started to walk down a spiritual journey that led him to a deeper understanding of God's word.  He was walking in the understanding of his true nationality as a Hebrew Israelite, according to the King James Bible.

Jermaine also loved spending time outdoors, his dogs and barbecuing.

On Monday, July 8, 2024 God called Jermaine home.

Preceding him in death was his mom, Ruth Jackson and his dad Earl Hammonds.

Jermaine leaves to cherish his memories: his brothers, Tracy (Vanessa) Jackson of San Antonio, TX, Michael (Tameka) Jackson of Tuscaloosa, AL, James M. Jackson of Dallas, TX, Everett Hammonds of Little Rock, AR and Aumbray Hammonds of Lonoke, AR; his sisters; Shuan (Hammonds) Thomas of Little Rock, AR and Valarie Hammonds of Montclair, NJ.  He also leaves to cherish his memory to devoted cousin Marvin Earl Crockett of Shaw, MS.
