"A TIME TO BE BORN"

Jennet L. Patton was born May 19, 1940 in Pace, MS to Rachel Leflora "Redd Bird" AKA "REDD" and Buck Towner.  She was loved, cared/provided for by Percy Lee "Snapp" who she called "Daddy."  Affectionately known to family and friends as "Toadie," she was a sibling to numerous sisters and brothers who she loved dearly.

"A TIME TO PLANT"

She accepted Christ in her life as a young adult.  She attended Pace Elementary School and completed grade 6(six).  As a young girl, she worked in the cotton fields; picking and chopping cotton.  Being an attractive young lady with a warm, loving smile, she captured the heart of Frederick Douglas Patton who married and loved her until his death.  She bore eight children.  To help provide for her family, she worked various domestic jobs then obtained her GED before landing a job at Baxter's Laboratories on December 09, 1968 where she worked until she retired on December 20, 2002.

She was a very kind-hearted, soft-spoken, and loving person who placed the concerns of others before her own and ful-filled every need she could within her power.  She visited the sick and shut-in as well as corresponded with those incarcerated.

Jennet departed this earthly life on December 29, 2017.
