Jamontae Jontrell Johnson, 22 of Cleveland, Mississippi, passed away on April 9, 2026.  He was born on November 26, 2003 in Cleveland, MS to John and Kayai Thompson.

Jamontae loved spending time with his sons, family and friends.  He will be remembered for his warm spirit, his devotion to his children and the joy he brought to those around him.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ora Lee Thompson and Rose M. Johnson, and by his brother Jakavion Jashon Johnson.

He leaves to cherish his memory parents, John and Kayai Thompson; two loving sons, Nolan Jamir Miller and Khemani Henry both of Cleveland, MS; his fiancee, Vikicara Miller; his sister, Jakiya Johnson of Cleveland, MS; his brothers, Jacory Johnson and Kevion Thompson of Cleveland, MS, and John (Delandra) Thompson, Jr. of Bobo, MS; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
