James Howard Wilson, Sr. was born in Shaw, Mississippi on October 15, 1951 to Cornelius Wilson Sr. and Eddie Lee Wilson. He departed this life on August 8, 2020 at Merit Health Central in Jackson, MS.

James professed a hope in Christ at an early age and joined Poplar Grove M.B. Church in Boyle, MS, where he remained a deacon until his death, under the leadership of Pastor C.L. Harris.

James is preceded in death by his father, Cornelius Wilson Sr,. his mother, Eddie Lee Wilson, a brother A.W. Wilson; and three sons, James Howard Wilson, Jr.; Christopher Brown; and Christopher Hall.

James leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 31 years, Jentice Wilson; his sons, Bobby( Felonda) Brown, Albert ( Shawntae) Wilson, Cedric Wilson, Robert Brown, and Michael Walker; his daughters, Patricia (RP) Williams, Carmin ( Wamon) Allen, Paula Hall and Linda Hall; four brothers, Cornelius Wilson, Jr., Charles (Roslyn) Wilson, Robert Wilson and Won Wilson; one sister, Dorothy Rodgers; two aunts, Cleaster McKenzie and Mary McKenzie, 20 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

James is greatly loved and will be missed by his family and many friends.
