James G. Thompson was born January 22, 1965 in Cleveland, MS to James Thompson and Ethel McCoy Norris.

He attended school in Cleveland School District.

James (Dink) loved and well known by many in his family and his community. He grew up surrounded by family and friends.

James was with Bluff Manufacturing Inc. in Fort Worth, Texas.

He was preceded in death by: his dad: James Thompson, his brother, Michael McCoy, his grandmother, Mrs. Johnnie B. Brown, and his sister, Rochell Thompson. James departed this earthly life, Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his mother: Ethel Norris; son; James Sanders of Cleveland, MS;  stepson, Roderious Jones of Drew, MS; sisters: Tara McCoy and Loretta McCoy both of Cleveland, MS, Sharon Norris Brown, Angela Norris both of Cordova, TN, Tina Norris of Fort Wort, TX, Regina Thompson of Delton, FL., Brenda Thompson of Amory, MS, Courtney Thompson of Cleveland, MS; four brothers: James Norris of Cordova, TN; Melvin Thompson and Jerry Thompson of Orlando, FL; Anthony Coleman of Milwaukee, WI; Friend: Cindy Parker, a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
