Mr. James Andrew Ross Higgins, Jr. was born on September 27, 1962 in Chicago, Illinois to Mr. James Andrew Ross Higgins, Sr. and Mrs. Addie Doris- Higgins. He was a star athlete in basketball and graduated from Greenville Weston High School in 1982. He also attended Rust College in Holly Springs. Around 1984, he served in the Army, specifically serving in Korea until 1987. By day, he was working man but regardless of the time of day, he was always a calm, beloved father, brother, uncle, and friend to many.

James passed away on Thursday, November 4, 2021 in Gulfport, MS. He predeceased in death by his mother, Mrs. Addie Doris White- Higgins, his sister Belinda Higgins, and niece Latoya Jones.

He is survived and leaves to cherish the memories with loved ones- five children: Jameshea Higgins, Kamron Higgins, Lucretia O' Neal, Terrill Holloway, and Tyshaun Harris; two brothers: Cedric Higgins, Tonney Higgins; four sisters: Alissa Roby, Darlene Higgins, Kathy Higgins, and Stephanie Higgins; 19 grandchildren, 2 great- granddaughters, and host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and plethora of family and friends.
