James Earl Forster (Kane) was born in Sunflower County on September 6, 1973 to Johnnie Mae Shields and Eddie B. Foster. He confessed at an early age in Christ at the William Chapel Missionary Baptist Church under the late Rev. Otis Ketten. He was a junior member of the usher board and attended Sunflower County Schools.

He leaves to cherish his memory his parents, Johnnie Mae Shields(Paul), chicago, Illinois; and Eddie Foster(Marcine) Ruleville, Mississippi; four daughters, Jameshiya Foster and Comeshiya Foster of Memphis, Tennessee, Jamiya Foster and Jasmine Foster of Chicago, Illinois; and one son,  James Foster, Jr of Chicago, Illinois. Seven sister:Kesha McAbee(Clyde), Cleveland, Mississippi; Valerie Foster( McKinley), Ames, Iowa, Carletta Barnett (Larry), Peoria, Illinois; Nykeba Carpenter, Brittany Carpenter, both of Ruleville, Mississippi. Dedrick Foster of Peoria, Illinois; one grandson, Marquaycius Tatum of Memphis, Tennessee, Three aunts: Aslean Johnson, Elouise Hollins, amd Rosemary Shaw all of Ruleville, Mississippi. Grandmother Juanita Jones; one uncle, Lamy Foster ( Ella mae) of Ruleville, Mississippi; three special nephews, Tazinski Foster and Desmond McAbee of Cleveland, Mississippi, and Michael James of Chicago, Illinois; one special niece: Mechelle Foster of Chicago Illinois; a very special friend of 18 years, Dashonna Treadwell; and many nieces and nephews.
