Jamal Jarvis Beck was born on June 17, 1980 to Joe Ann Beck and Richard Hill. He confessed Christ at an early age as his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Jamal joined Spring Hill Baptist Church in Detroit, MI. He attended North Webster High School along with two (2) years of college at Grand Valley State University. Jamal was employed with Kroger, Riverside Hospital, and Planet Fitness of New Point, Virginia. Jamal was kind, sweet, a gentle giving guy, funny, silly, and a family oriented man. His first love and his children whom he loved and adored so dearly. he loved his family and his family loved him for he was so much fin to be around. His greatest passion was cooking.

Jamal made his heavenly transition and was called to his eternal rest on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at his residence. Jamal leaves to cherish his memories: his mother, Joe Ann Beck of Macon, GA; father, Richard Hill of Detroit, MI; his children; DaKarai, Brailyn and Madison; one (1) brother; Kwende (Tanail) Beck of New Point News, VA; his Granny; Clara Washington of Detroit MI. He was preceded in death by his grandmother: Lula Mae Beck. A host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends and Jobie Davis whom admired him like a son.
