Jacqueline D. Walker was born December 17, 1966 to the union of the late Catherine Taylor Walker and the late Johnny Walker.  She was the oldest of six children.  Jacqueline was well known as Jackie in the community.

She confessed her belief in Christ at an early age where she joined and got baptized at The Church of God in Christ.  Later, she joined Christ Temple under the leadership of Pastor Myrtle Murphy.  She spent her years in Cleveland, Mississippi where she attended East Side High School.

On April 18, 2023, she departed from this life at Methodist South Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. She is preceded in death by her husband, Derrick Lowery, her mother, Catherine Taylor Walker, her father, Johnny Walker and her brother, Johnny Walker, Jr.

Jacqueline leaves to cherish her memories:  two sons, Lajarvis Walker and Brian Walker both of Cleveland, Mississippi, two daughters:  Emerald Walker of Orange, Texas and D'Shondria Tanner of Dallas, Texas; two brothers:  Cedric Walker and Joe (Precious) Walker both of Cleveland, Mississippi; one sister:  Debra (Cleveland) Robertson of Memphis, Tennessee; ten grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
