Mr. J.D. "Mitt" White was born August 04, 1958 to the late J.W. and Archie Mae White in Ruleville, MS.  He confessed hope in Christ at an early age at the St. Mary Baptist Church in Ruleville, MS.  Moving to Cleveland, MS, he joined the United Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Sammie Rash.  While attending United Baptist Church, he served on the usher board no.2.

He attended H.M. Nailor Elementary school and Eastside High School in Cleveland, MS where he graduated with the class of 1979.

He married Renee Winford on August 16, 2014 who also preceded him in death.  He is also preceded in death by his brother, Sylvester White and two children; Marquita White and Jeremiah Spears.

J.D. leaves to cherish his memory; a son, Alfred (Charlotte) Spears of Minnesota; a daughter, Regina Washington of Cleveland, MS; seven sisters, Belinda White of Cleveland, MS, Ida Mae Townes of Renova, MS, Willie Ann (Richard) Brown of Merigold, MS, Dianne White of Cleveland, MS, Eileen White of Cleveland, MS., Tina Clayton of Cleveland, MS., Jennifer White of Cleveland, MS.; one brother, Anthony White of Cleveland, MS.; six grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
