Herrie Lee, 70 years old, passed away peacefully at his home on February 2, 2019.

Herrie Lee was born on February 17,1948 in Leland, Mississippi to the late James Lee and Mary Bell Lee.  Quietly on Saturday, February 2, 2019, Herrie entered into eternal rest.  Herrie was the twelfth child of fifteen children.  After his health appeared to be failing, Herrie sought rest and God hears his cry.

Herrie professed a hope in Christ at an early age and later moved to Greenville where his family worshiped at St. Peters East Missionary Baptist Church.  He was educated in the Western Line School District and eventually became a professional sheetrock contractor.  Herrie maintained his trademark sense of humor all the way to the end and was known by many as an avid outdoorsman and for his love of the blues.
