Helen "Marie" was born June 20, 1956 in Rosedale, Mississippi to Annie Young and the late Deamus Johnson.  She accepted Jesus Christ as her personal savior and was baptized at Pleasant Grove in Kosciusko, MS.  She later gave birth to three loving sons.

Early Monday morning, May 20, 2024, Helen transitioned from this life to be with the Lord.  She is preceded in death by her son, whom she loved dearly, Derrick Lewis and her father, Deamus Johnson.

Helen "Marie" will long be remembered by all who knew her and will be forever cherished within the hearts of:  Her mother, Annie Young of Rosedale, MS; (2) sons:  Laduerus Johnson of New Bedford, MA and Jabrandon Johnson of Rosedale, MS; (8) grandchildren:  Sonmonika, Torriontae, Derrinedria, Aderrian, Jayla, King, Demarcus and Elijah; (3) great grands: Taliah, Jaxon, and Aubreigh; (3) sisters:  Carolyn Young, Delicia, and Tabitha; (1) brother, Michael Murry; a special friend:  Joshua Lee of Southaven, MS; (1) aunt:  Evelyn Williams; (1) niece:  Melissa Young; (2) nephews:  Demario Young and Jawan Young; (1) God daughter:  Tabitha Estes-Butler; (2) God sisters:  Lula Gadison and Ruby Pates; (2) extended family daughters:  Kimberly Green and Tekonsha Green; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
