The day of December 18, 1974 brought so much joy to Andrew and Mozzella Gaston Caston in their home in Shelby, MS because on that date, a beautiful daughter, Helen Christine Gaston, was born.

Helen confessed a hope in Christ at an early age at the St. John M.B. Church under the leadership of the late Pastor Harris.

Helen was educated in the Bolivar County School System and was a 1993 graduate of Broad Street High School in Shelby, MS.  She pursued her educational goals by earning her A.A. degree in Early Childhood Education from Coahoma Jr. (Community) College.  Helen also attended Jackson State in 1995.

Helen worked at Hollywood Casino and most recently had been employed at Delta State University.

Helen's spirit was called home by her Savior on Friday, the tenth of November.  She was a woman whose heart was filled with the love of God and who willingly shared that love with her family and friends.
