Gloria Dean White was born August 29, 1949, to the late Charlie and Lorena White. She departed this life on August 31, 2022, at Bolivar Medical Center Long Term Care Facility in Cleveland, MS.

Gloria accepted Christ at an early age. She attended school at John F. Kennedy Memorial High School in Mound Bayou, MS. She was later employed in the school cafeteria where she worked for 30 years until she retired.

Gloria is preceded in death by her parents: Charlie and Lorena White, one sister: Mildred Shorty and one brother: Jesse Murry. She leaves to mourn her memories: four (4) children: Otis White of Horn Lake, MS; Curtis White of Gulfport, MS; Bettina White of Clarksdale, MS; and Marcus White of Stockton, CA.

She leaves to cherish her memories; three (3) sisters: Charlean (Houston) Coleman of Mound Bayou, MS; Ruby White of Horn Lake, MS; and Kathie Hackett of Johnson County, TX; two (2) brothers: Charles Ray White of Pelahatchie, MS and Leroy White of Horn Lake, MS. A special friend: Willie Griffin of Mound Bayou, MS; thirteen grandchildren: D'Angelo White, Amy White, Randolph Nelson, Tatyana Diggs, Lamont White, and Omar White (which she raised from a baby), Nypherria White, Chazzidy White, Ishmael Griffin White, Quaron Lambert, Damien White, Demarcus White, Ny'Arie Gloria White; three (3) great-grandchildren: Brooklyn Wilson, reign White, and D'Angelo White, Jr and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and family.
