George B.W. Thomas, Sr. was born August 12, 1939 to the late Mary Adams and Quincy Thomas of Itta Bena, Ms.  He moved from St. Louis, Missouri to Cleveland, MS.  Mr. Thomas passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at the age of 80 at Delta Regional Hospital in Greenville, MS.

Mr. Thomas is preceded in death by his parents, Mary and Quincy Thomas, 4 sisters; Ruby Thomas, Ernestine Jackson, Arie Love and Cora Fulton; and 3 brothers, Mose Nathaniel, Joseph Campbell and Junior Thomas.

Mr. Thomas leaves his precious memories and unconditional love, one son, George Thomas, Jr. of Chicago, IL, one sister Hurley Thomas of Benoit, MS, 2 brothers, Willie B. Thomas of Chicago, IL and Quincy B. Thomas of Memphis, TN and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
