George Hollins Jr. was born June 30th 1950 in Scott, Ms.  He was the 6th child to Rosie and George Hollins, Sr.  He transitioned to his eternal resting place on November 13, 2025.  George accepted Christ at an early age. He graduated from an Auto Technician school.  Being such a hard working man George was employed with the City of Greenville for 50 years until he retired in 2008.  He also served as Alderman for Metcalfe, MS and coached little league baseball for several years.

George is preceded in death by his, parents, Rosie and George Hollins, Sr., (3) brothers:  Frank Hollins, F.E. Hollins, and Andre Hollins, (2) sons, Keun Jones and Marquain Jones.

He leaves to cherish his memories:  wife, Lillie Jones, (4) Daughters; Gloria Davis, Falisha Davis, Laqueata Jones and Genell Davis of Greenville, MS.  (5) Sons, Jerome Davis, Kevin Davis, Taurus (Stacy) Jones, Quardaryl (Elizabeth) Jones and Tywanye Davis of Greenville, MS. (1) Daughter in law, Tiffany Jones. (4) Sisters; Barbara Hollins, Rosie Kellum, Dorothy Johnson, Susie (Mark) Johnson of Greenville, MS. (5) Brothers; Marshall Hollins, Roosevelt Hollins, Tyrone Davis, Freddie Hollins, Freddie Lee Davis of Greenville, MS. (29) Grandkids and (3) Great Grandkids and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
