Freddie L. Campbell, Sr., son of Mrs. Josephine M. Campbell, was born January 14, 1952. He was the last born of nine. He accepted Christ at an early age and joined Wender's Home M.B. Church in Mound Bayou, MS. Freddie graduated from John F. Kennedy Memorial High School in 1971. He continued his education at Coahoma Junior College. Freddie's work history started at Douglas & Lomason Company in Cleveland, MS from 1975-1994. He was employed at Mississippi Department of Correction in Parchman, MS and the Riceland Rice Company in Alligator, MS. He was united in Holy Matrimony to Gertrude Sharon Tutwiler and to this union four children were born: Kimalon, Freddie,Jr., Chassidy and Kelton. Freddie departed life on this side to transition for eternal life on Monday, January 27, 2014 at the Bolivar Medical Center in Cleveland, MS.
