Floyd Cardell Williams was born on November 5, 1980 in Cleveland, MS to Floyd Chatman and Mary Welth.  He departed this earthly life on Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at the age of forty five in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

He received Christ at an early age at Christ Temple Church under the leadership of Pastor Myrtle Murphy.  He worked at Crestfood.

Floyd was a true believer of the "EGP."  You had to know him to "NO" him.  Everyone loved him and he was the life to who he touched.

He was preceded in death by Floyd Chatman, father, Katie Mae Williams and Lillie Mae Jones, grandmothers, Willie Gray and Durell Chatman, grandfathers.

Floyd leaves behind a legacy of love, Mary (Sammie) Welth, his mother of Cleveland, MS, Keundra Williams, son of Cartersville, GA, daughters, Tierra Ward of Memphis, TN, Ladai Brown of Cleveland, MS.  His only sister, Edneatha (Avery) Payne of Memphis, TN that he loved with all his heart and soul; his brother, Marcell Wilson of Detroit, Michigan; two grandchildren, Journey Garner and Ty'Laya Ward of Memphis, TN; his aunt, Susie Hunt of Cleveland, MS, who he loved as a mother; his cousin, Sckibble (William) Bryant of Leland, MS, who he loved as a sister; his nephew, Alfred "A.J." Weir of Southaven, MS, two nieces, Katie Johnson of Cleveland, MS and Diamond Johnson of Memphis, TN; a host of great nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, family and friends.  One cousin, Shakeia Clark, that he loved as a niece.
