Floyd "Maurice" Banks was born April 2, 1971 to Arthur Lee Banks Sr. and Donzella Veazy.  Floyd was raised by loving grandparents Floyd Banks and Elnora Banks, who proceeded him in death.  A favorite Uncle, Eddie Banks, who also proceeded him in death.  After a recent struggle with health, on May 6, 2019 Floyd departed this life peacefully at Jackson University Hospital in Jackson, MS.

Floyd "Maurice" cared for his family and friends deeply.  He frequently enjoyed talking and laughing with them.  He had an amazing work history, and an incredible amount of energy.  He showed a tremendous amount of strength every day, which kept us all motivated.  he was well known and loved by many.

He leaves to cherish his memories 5 of 12 siblings of Drew, MS: Arthur "Lee" Banks, Jr., Robert "Lee" Banks, Angie D. Banks-Guyton, Annie R. Banks, Jakarda R. Banks, Veronica and Gregory Bowdery of Coldwater, MS.

Remaining 6 siblings of Memphis, TN: Demetrius Banks, Valarie Banks, Lakisha Banks, Travis Banks, Montez Banks, and Mario Banks.  Also a grandmother, Annie Veazey of Memphis, TN, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
