Eluster Sampson passed away peaceful on June 30, 2025 at his residence in Memphis, TN.  He was born on August 1, 1956 in Cleveland, MS to the late Willie and Viola Sampson.

He is preceded in death by his wife Vivian Sampson, parents, two brothers, Elijah Sampson and Henry Bell and one sister, Ethel Lee Sampson.

Eluster was a beloved father to eight sons, Eluster Sampson, Jr of Charlotte, NC, Eluster ( T'Morro) Sampson, Jr. of Memphis, TN, Tamarcus Turner, Sr. of Houston, Texas, Larry Sampson of Fort Mohave, Lurie Sampson of Peoria, Illinois, Lagarius Alexander of Hillsboro, Illinois, Jonathan Sampson of Chicago, Illinois and Olivar Sampson of Yazoo, MS; nine daughters, Chevon Sampson of New Brunswick, ND, Crystal Sampson of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Jewrita Sampson and Jarquita Alexander of Peoria, Illinois, Tiffany Jackson, Barbara Jackson and Rachel Sampson all of Chicago, Illinois, Stephanie Sampson of Lafayette, IN and Wakiesha Sampson of Yazoo, City, MS; two sisters, Brenda and Linda Sampson both of Cleveland, MS; four brothers, Willie Earl Sampson, Larry (Diane) Sampson, and Ollie Scott, Sr. all of Cleveland, MS and Lurie (Helen) Sampson of Milwaukee, WI; 52 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, an aunt, Florence Harris of Cleveland, MS and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
