Elizabeth Ruth Willis was born July 18, 1963, in Sunflower County to Mr. Willie B King Sr. and Ruthie B King. Elizabeth was known by many as Ruth or Liz. She was a very hard worker during the years she worked. She worked at a factory job in Ruleville, Mississippi at Southern Finishing from 1989 to 1991. She worked at National Compras Quarter in Drew, Mississippi during seasonal time 1993. She worked at National Plastic Corporation in Drew, Mississippi from 1995 to 1996 as a machine operator. Elizabeth also worked at Staple Cotton in 2003 to 2004 as a cotton spotter during cotton season in Drew, Mississippi.

Elizabeth accepted Christ at an early age as the Lord and Savior under the leadership of Rev. C. J. Wright at Christian Union M.B. Church. She later became a member of Holly Grove MB Church in Drew, Mississippi under the leadership of Dr. Billy Joe Willis, where she served as a faithful member until her death. She was proceeded in death by her father and mother Willie B King Sr. and Ruthie B King. Four brothers: Stanley Glenn King, Tommy Lee King Sr., Charles Edward King, and Stephen King. Two sisters, Rita Rebecca King, and Sharon Harper. One nephew, Danny Woodard Junior.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her four children, Earnest Rondale (Stephanie) Willis of Memphis, Tennessee, Jocelyn Tonisha Willis of Memphis, Tennessee, Darius Dimitri Brown of Drew, Mississippi, Richard Lee (Krystle) McClinton Jr. of Lincoln, Nebraska. Seven brothers; Willie B. (Tabby) King Junior of Drew, Mississippi, Roger (Sandra) King of Drew, Mississippi, Keith (Veronica) King of Horn Lake, Mississippi, Terry Sutton of Drew, Mississippi, James (Brenda) Mickey of Sunflower, Mississippi, Terry (Latania) Harper of Jackson, Mississippi, Perry Graham of Gainesville, Florida. 12 sisters: Merilynn S. (Walter) Woods, Amanda A. King, Latonya R. (Danny) Woodard, Cherrita Williams all of Drew, Mississippi. Rita S. Harper and Shelia Harper of Ruleville, Mississippi, Tracy Harper of Dallas, Texas, Lisa (Craig) Prince of San Jacinto, California, LaToya and Maria Randolph of Jackson, Tennessee, and Priscilla A. Johnson of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Elizabeth also leaves to cherish her memories seven grandchildren: Christon Willis, Azariah Stokes, Kameryn and Camari Harris of Memphis, Tennessee, Raheem McClinton of Drew, Mississippi, Dariyah Brown of Ruleville, Mississippi, Amir Willis of Cleveland, Mississippi. And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and a special friend, Ivan Lee Willis.
