Elbert Brown Jr. was born May 3, 1971 in Cleveland, Mississippi to Elbert Brown, Sr. and the late Atline Brown.

Elbert expressed hope in Christ at an early age.  He was a member of Pace Miracle Deliverance Church under the leadership of his aunt/mother, the late Pastor Rosie M. Birge.  After the passing of Pastor Rosie M. Birge, Elbert was graciously taken in by his cousins; Roger E. Birge and Betty J. Payne who took excellent care of him.  He attended Rock Of Faith Church.

Mr. Brown attended the Cleveland Public School District.  His education began at Nailor Elementary and ended at Eastside High School.  Elbert loved to eat, sing and clap his hands.

Elbert was preceded in death by his mother; Atline Brown; paternal grandparents; Mary and Roosevelt Brown, Sr.; his favorite aunt who reared him, Pastor Rosie M. Birge, other aunts, Elease Holton and Georgia Lewis; uncles, Willie Birge, Sr., Roosevelt Brown, Jr. and Bruce Brown.

Elbert Brown Jr. leaves to cherish his memories; father, Elbert( Mary Ann)  Brown, Sr. (Columbus, GA); brother, Eric Lee Sanders (Cleveland, MS); sisters; Annie Mae Day (Montgomery, AL) and Joy Simpson (Buffalo, NY); caretakers and cousins; Roger E. Birge (Cleveland, MS) and Pastor Betty J. Payne (Renova, MS); uncles; Henry(Linda) Brown (New Orleans, LA), Frank(Alma) Brown (Hollandale, MS); host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
