Dorothy Jean Myles was born June 23, 1951, in Boyle, MS to Jim and Maybell Myles. She departed this life January 9, 2026, at Bolivar Medical Center surrounded by her family.

DOT, as she was affectionately known, was a loving mother, grandmother, and aunt. She spent her life helping others. Even with her own health challenges, DOT always made sure those around her was taken care of. She loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She also loved her dog Tank. She lived life to the fullest, enjoying every moment.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Maybell Myles. Her siblings, Willie, Leroy, William, Mayretha, and Winnie, her children, Dexter Myles and Gwendolyn Brewer, Grandchildren Pamela and Nukiesha Myles.

DOT leaves to cherish her memory: her children: Victory Myles, Shanika (Dwight) Steward, Dinika (Corey) Tarrant and Dominique Jackson. Grandchildren: Dorothy, Ollie, Erin, De'Undrika, Nukiesha, Catera, Braylen, Daylin, Dominik, Destiny and Dexter' Great-Grandchildren: Antoine, Shi'Yonna, Lyrik, Logan, Dexter, Nola, Pheyona, Germany, Lexi and London, her niece Felicia Marshall and her lifelong friend, Mary Rushing as well as a host of other friends and family.
