Ms. Dorothy Cannon was born on November 25, 1937, to the Parentage of the late Nettie McGee and Jessie Palmer. She attended school in Indianola, MS. Ms. Dorothy Cannon received Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age. She was a member of the Mt. Ararat Baptist Church; she served faithfully for many years on the Usher Board until her health failed. She will always be remembered for her quiet spirit and devotion to her family and friends. She was united in Holy Matrimony to the Late Henry L. Cannon, Sr. We know our mother to be a God fearing Woman who loved life, family and the Lord. Please do not mourn but instead rejoice with us for she is in the presence of Jesus.
