Dollie Lee Harris was born in Gunnison, MS to the parents of Perry and Rebecca Harris, Sr. on November 24, 1959 whom both preceded her in death.  She was a devoted mother, sister, aunt and friend.  She was a very strong and independent woman who believed in the word of God.  She believed anything worth having is worth working for.  Her hobbies included spending time with her family ( especially her son Kaden), collecting antiques and restoring furniture.  She went on to receive her Degree in Arts which she used to educate the youth at I.T. Montgomery Elementary in Mound Bayou, MS.

Dollie Harris departed this life on Thursday May 9, 2019.  She passed away peacefully in the comforts of her home in Mound Bayou, MS.  She was preceded in death by her parents Perry Harris, Sr. and Rebecca Harris; two brothers, Willie and Perry Harris, Jr.

Dollie leaves to cherish and preserve her memory, one daughter, Brandi Harriss of Mound Bayou, MS; four sons, Sherrod Harris of Vinton, LA, Marco Harris Sr. of Brandon, MS, Arsenio Harris of Mound Bayou, MS & Kaden Harris of Brandon, MS; three daughter in laws, Tiawona, April & Evie Harris; three sisters, Cleather Norvell of Mound Bayou, MS, Carlee Harris of Orange, MS & Katherine Harris of Cleveland, MS; two brothers, Martin & Johnny Harris of Orange, TX, nine grandchildren.
