Darnell Wiley was born on March 10, 1959 to the late Willie Mae Wiley.  He accepted Christ at an early age and rededicated his life to Christ under the leadership of Pastor Debbie Bass of Family Worship Church.  Darnell attended Greenville Public School and graduated with the GHS Class of 1977.

Darnell was a hardworking man and always had pride in his work.  He worked at U.S. Axminister for over 20 years.  He also worked with Dresser Rand, Arrow Industry and Universal Plant Service in Jena, Louisiana.  Darnell's last employment was with Dollar General Warehouse in Indianola,  MS.

Darnell never met a stranger, he would strike a conversation with anyone, anywhere, at any time.

Besides his late mother, Mrs. Willie Mae Wiley, he was preceded in death by his sister Eunice and his brothers, Robert and Terry.  His grandsons, Tyler Lewis and Trevonte Lewis.

He leaves to cherish his memories; his devoted wife of 34 years, Debera Lewis Wiley; his (3) sons, Darnell Wiley, Jr., Rodney Lewis (Tamika), and Jamel Lewis.  His siblings, Geraldine Kearney, Rosemary Conrod (Sylvester), Olivia Davis, Dororthynell Wiley, Perry Davis (Naomi), and Debra Warren.  His siblings-in-love; Belinda, Clifford, Keith, Carl (Lisa), Kelvin (Lorinda), Darnell (Donna), Travis, Cedric (Latonya), Derrick (Margaret), Jermaine (Hazel) and Lee Grant.  (19) Grand-children, (13) Great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Also, a special nephew, Dexter Lewis who was there during his illness.
