Bro. Clifford Birt was born on September 10, 1948 in Greenville, MS to the late Sylvester Birt and Inez Birt.

He was baptized into the Church of Christ.  He was faithful in the work of the Lord until stricken by his illness.  He was called into the sleep of death on Wednesday, January 1, 2020 at his home.  He was preceded in death by his parents:  Sylvester and Inez Birt; two brothers, Jim Lee Birt and Roosevelt Birt; and one sister, Margaret Robinson.

He leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife, Bertia Hall, Greenville, MS; Five children:  Anthony(Ora) Birt, Sonia Birt, Veronica(Eddie) Taylor, Roshelle Birt and Lamont Kimble, all of Greenville, MS.  Two sisters:  Barbara Briggs and Debra Vaughn; Four brothers; Sylvester Birt, Jr., Willie Lee Springfield, Tommy Lee Birt, and James Henry Birt; nine grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
