Obituary

Clarence Brown was a life long resident of Greenville, Mississippi. He was born November 6, 1970 to the late Mattie H. Brown and the late Walter Lindsey. He attended Greenville High School. He accepted Christ as his Savior at an early age, and later united with Jake Chapel Church in Greenville, Mississippi.

In July of 1997 Clarence Brown saw the love of his life in Linda Evans whom he spent the remaining years of his life until he quietly transitioned to his heavenly home on June 29, 2020. He will forever be remembered for his loving nature, humorous and peaceful spirit. He was proceeded in death by his mother, Mattie H. Brown, father, Walter Lindsey; three (3) brothers, Jimmy ( Cowboy) Brown,Jr., Otis Charles Brown, and Harold Brown, one (1) sister, Deloris Washington.

He leaves behind to cherish his memories: one son, Clarence Brown, Jr., and one daughter, Nautisha Davis, both of Greenville, Mississippi; 5 step kids, Kendell Evans, Britney Evans, Antonio Brown, and Andrea Brown all of Greenville, Mississippi, and Jessica Evans( Lakenneth Hodges) of Southaven, MS; Seven sisters, Margaret Norman of Jacksonville, NC, Evelyn Woods ( George Woods), Ruby Mason both of Greenville, Mississippi, Barbara Brown- Steward of Galveston, TX, Shirley ( Clyde) Williams and Suzanne Hillard both of Milwaukee, WI, Ashley ( Jamie) Wheatley of Greenville, Mississippi; three brothers, Reginald Brown of Houston, TX, Don Brown of Milwaukee, WI, Dwaine Norman of Marlborough, Mass; one aunt, Eva ( Coney) Johnson of Laura,MS; one great aunt , Willie Mae Kennedy of Memphis, TN; Velma Johnson and three grand kids, host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
