Claiborne Lee Gaitors was born June 26, 1969 to Lessie B. Gaitors and the late L.V. Jackson.  He departed from this life on January 4, 2024.

He accepted Jesus Christ in January 2009 under the leadership of Pastor Larry D. Young at Spangle Banner MB Church of Pace, MS.

Lee received his education at Rosedale High School.  Lee started his employment at Jantran at the age of 18.  He went on to work at Rosedale High School District for over 15 years and also Cleveland School District for approximately 10 years and then on to Bolivar County Road Department until his death.

At an early age, Lee learned to work on cars from his granddad, Mr. Bubba Edwards from then on he and his brother, Johnny became the family mechanics.  He was really a jack of all trades.  Whatever was broken, he could fix it.  He was a family man and he enjoyed family gatherings.  He was straight forward and would tell you the truth even if it hurts.

Lee was preceded in death by his father, L.V.  Jackson; brother, Charles Gaitors; sister, Lucille Archie; two nephews, Ken Trevian Edwards and Deron Lewis.

Lee's memories will be forever cherished by his loving wife of 19 years, Giovanni Gaitors; children, Ja'tristan Sykes, Quashennie, Quatisa, Javoris, JaNiya Gaitors, all from Rosedale, Mississippi, Bianka (Jarvis) Lewis from Leland and Sakaree Burnes from Rosedale, Mississippi; mother, Lessie Gaitors, Rosedale, MS; four sisters, Vera Edwards (Pace), Diann Archie, Rosedale, Mississippi, Virginia Taylor (Cleveland), and Tracey Gaitors (Leland); two brothers, Willie (Carol) Gaitors (Chicago, Illinois), and Johnny (Jessie) Gaitors, Rosedale, Mississippi; nine grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins; and special cousin, James (Skip) Malone.
