Charlie Cornelius Brown was born June 6, 1938 to the late Frank and Rosalie Brown in Foote, MS. He confessed Christ at an early age and joined the Seventh-Day Adventist Church.

Charlie attended Greenville Public Schools and graduated from Coleman High School in 1958. He did further his studies at Oakwood University in Huntsville, Alabama. After returning to Greenville, he worked for Dallriva Grain, Lewis Grocery, and Chew's Construction for more than twenty years.

Charlie truly enjoyed spending time with family, sharing stories from his past, and sharing the Word of God whenever he had the opportunity.

He is preceded in death by his parent, Frank and Rosalie Brown, one sister, Laverne Brown Hartsfield, two brothers, Author and Frank Brown Jr., three nephews Ronnie Brown, Ralph Brown and Reginald Brown, and one niece, Valerie R. Brown.

HE leaves to cherish his memory, two sisters, Myrtle D. Brown, of Greenville, MS and Joyce Ann Brown of Chicago, IL one uncle, Herbert R. Wise (Muessetta), of Greenville, Ms and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
