On June 15, 1986 a joyful, happy, and special baby boy was born to Ms. Tapether Williams(Freeman) in Chicago, IL. No one knew just how special this baby boy named after maternal grandfather Charles Wesley Williams entered this world and left his footprint of happiness and an infectious smile wherever and to whomever he came into contact with. Born as a special needs child he faced many challenges in life with a smile and an "I Can Do It" attitude.
Charles along with his mother and sister (Tomorrow) and brother (Andra) moved to Shaw, MS. It is here where he faced his greatest challenges and won his greatest battles. Being taught through speech therapist and other special occupational therapist he learned and developed so that he was able to attend school with all the other children. What a thrill that gave him. see he celebrated each day and each accomplishment of whoever was around him. he attended McEvans Elementary and on to Shaw High School where he was Drum Major of the band. He wanted to be just like his other family members that had participated and wouldn't give up until he accomplished his task. He was loved by teachers, students, administrators and staff that to this day would and ask for a hug and kiss from "their Charles."
