Carolyn Fox-Robinson, a truly remarkable woman who embraced her roles as sister, mother, wife and friend with unwavering love, was born on July 22, 1962 in Merigold, Mississippi.  Though her roots were firmly planted in the warmth and strength of the south.  Carolyn made New York her cherished lifelong home.  From her earliest years, a spirit defined by both grace and resilience blossomed with her.  At the tender age of eight, Carolyn found her faith in Christ and was baptized by Reverend Wade Richmond at St. John's Baptist Church in Far Rockaway, New York, a spiritual foundation that served as her constant guide through all of life's experiences.  Surrounded by the love of her family, Carolyn peacefully departed this life on March 28, 2025, at the age of 62 in New York City.

A lifelong lover of words, Carolyn was an avid reader with a writer's soul, nurturing a dream of one day becoming an author.  She pursued her education at Martin Luther King, Jr. High School and later earned her Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Arts from the College of New Rochelle.  Throughout her working life, she held various positions, but her time as a manager at Greyhound held a special place in her heart, as it was there she forged lasting friendships.  Carolyn possessed a radiant presence that illuminated every room she entered.  Her passion for music was infectious - she crafted the most wonderful playlists- and she was often the first to grace the dance floor at family gatherings.  Her life stood as a vibrant testament to compassion, devoted and inner strength.

Carolyn was welcomed into eternal peace by her beloved mother, Earnestine Barron; her cherished grandmother, Gertrude Fox; her father, Harold Brown of Renova, Mississippi; her dear aunt, Betty Turner of Queens, New York; and her brother, Charles Terrell Barron.  Their heavenly reunion is undoubtedly filled with joy and laughter.

Her legacy of love endures in the hearts of those she leaves behind, including her devoted and loving husband, Edwin C. Robinson.  She is deeply mourned and forever remembered by her sons, Christopher (Keshawnan) Fox-Kelly and Malcolm (Kathleen) Hemingway, both of Harlem, New York; her sisters, Sheila (Sellers) Davis of Piscataway, New Jersey, and Anita Barron of the Bronx, New York; her brother, Trygve Trosper of Illinois; her uncle, Andrew Fox of Far Rockaway, New York; and her five treasured grandchildren; Tristan, Emory, Savannah, Xavier, and Devante; along with her five nieces, five nephews, and a multitude of cousins, great aunts, uncles and friends.

To her family, Carolyn was the very heart of their home- a source of quiet strength, a patient listener, a wellspring of wisdom, and an endless reservoir of unconditional love.  To her friends and community, she shone as a beacon of light, a trusted confidante, and a woman whose unwavering faith and profound kindness left an indelible mark on all who knew her.

Her memory will continue to flourish in every story shared, every lesson imparted and every act of love carried out in her name.
