Carlette Lasha Dulaney was born November 1, 1982 to David Dulaney, Jr. and Elzine Dulaney.  Carlette accepted Christ as her savior at an early age and was baptized at Wanderer's Home Church in Mound Bayou, MS.  She later joined Oakland Mount Olive Church in Drew, MS.

Carlette attended John F. Kennedy High School in Mound Bayou, MS.  She furthered her education by receiving a degree in Nursing CNA from Mississippi Delta Community College in and a Cosmetology degree from Goshen School of Cosmetology in Cleveland, MS.  Later she opened her own business C. Dulaney Beauty Salon, in Cleveland, MS at the back of Reese Eye Care services.

She loved life and was a kind and loving person.  She was loved by many people.  Carlette departed this life on Tuesday, May 18, 2018.
