Carl Earl Mems was born in Shelby, Mississippi on August 29, 1963 to the late Robert and Mary Mems.  He departed this life Friday, April 28, 2023 at Delta Regional Hospital in Greenville, Mississippi.

Carl reunited his life with the Lord and New Morning Star Church of God in Christ March 16, 2023 while at Ruleville hospital in the presence of Elder Tyrone Foster.

Carl was preceded in death by his mother and father:  sisters, Irene, Virginia, Shirley and Mary Collins.

Carl leaves to cherish his memories:  Three children; one son, Kendrick (Kelsey) Taylor of Houston, TX; two daughters, Keontaye (Undra) Sanders of Ruleville, MS; Keshandra (William) Terry of Atlanta, GA; three brothers, Pastor Robert ( Lorraine) Mems, Jr., Bobby and Vernon Lamont of Chicago, IL; six sisters, Dollean Bell of Duncan, MS; Bonnie (Darrell) Loyd of Titusville, Florida; Laverna (Larry) Ceasar of Chicago, IL; Tersa Mems of Shelby, MS, Addie and Shirley Burton of Duncan, MS; four grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
