Mr. Calvin Earl Dotson was born September 23, 1958 in Rosedale, MS.  He was the third child to the union of the late Otis and Marie Dotson.  He confessed to Christ at an early age at the C.A. Burke M.B. Church under the leadership of Rev. Tom Meeks of Rosedale, MS.

Calvin was preceded in death by his parents Otis and Marie Dotson.

Upon graduation May 1976, Calvin joined the United States Air Force where he served 8 years.  He worked for NSK Corporation for 30 years.  Calvin relocated to Atlanta, GA where he met and married his wife of 28 years, Darlene Stringfield Dotson.  To this union two daughters were born.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife Darlene, four children Katelyn and Adrianna Dotson, Charlecia Tillman and Calvin (Na'Toyia) SIms all of Indianapolis, Indiana.  One brother, Curtis Keaton of Waynesville, MO; two sisters, Ora (Willie) Taylor and Lula Pulliam both of Cleveland, MS.  A mother-in-law, Rosie Stringfield; sister-in-law, Andrea Stringfield both from Atlanta, GA, three brother-in-laws, George (Jody) Biggs of Moss Point, Walter Stringfield of Atlanta, GA; Carlos (Lashonda) Stringfield of Gautier, MS.  Seven grandchildren, two great grandchildren a host of nieces and nephews.
