On a cool fall evening on November 18, 1979, O'Merry Simpson-Morrison gave birth to a bouncing baby boy, she named him Bryan Keith Morrison.  O'Merry was a beautiful woman, with a big heart, free spirit and a beautiful singing voice.  She preceded Bryan in death in 1988 when he was an 8 year old boy.  You could often see her identical smile on Bryan's face.  He and his siblings were then reared by his maternal grandmother, Missionary Mother Viola Simpson.

Mother Simpson reared him up in church that she originally founded in her living room.  She instilled in him the love of God and to always lead with love in whatever you do.  Bryan was baptized in the name of Jesus as a toddler along with his siblings and 10 of his close cousins on a Saturday morning in 1981.  He was reared in the Apostolic Faith way of life.  He was a member of the Apostolic Faith Church in Cleveland, Mississippi.  Bryan took part in a number of church activities.  He was a member of the Little Voices of Christ children's choir and Voices of Deliverance Youth Choir.

During his teen years he became lead drummer for Apostolic Faith Church.  Mother Simpson had a dream that not only her children, but all all of her grandchildren would become great men and women of God.  That is the prayer she so often prayed.  In the mid 80's, she gathered all her grandchildren and formed the Simpson Singers.  The group quickly became the highlight on many youth Sundays.  Bryan was right there front and center from a young boy up to the age of a young adult.  The Simpsons were a very musically inclined family with God given talents and Bryan was one of the most talented.

Bryan attended school in the Cleveland School District.  He was a pupil of B.L. Bell Elementary and Eastwood Jr. High School.  He honed his God gifted musical skills as a member of the Almighty East Side High School Trojan's Marching Band.  He graduated and obtained his diploma as a member of the graduating class of 1998.

Bryan possessed a number of talents.  He could rap and sing with the smoothest tone that almost sounded angelic.  While living in Memphis, he was scouted for a BET reality show about local hometown artists trying to make it in the entertainment industry.  He often expressed how it was his dream to one day become an artist, an artist who plays instruments, writes their own songs and can sing as well.

In the spring of 2000, Bryan  met Barbara "Shug" Jackson, from this union a baby boy was born.  Bryan Keith Morrison, Jr., affectionally known as "Tank" arrived on November 15, 2000.  Bryan remained in this union for several years and raised Jaquala and Niesha, to them be was "Pops".  He took care of them and they loved him for doing so.

Bryan moved to Florida hoping to find better employment to ultimately live a better life, a life where he could be the best version of himself as a responsible man and father.  He settled in Orlando and soon Bryan Jr. and Niesha settled there, too.  Bryan became a grandfather, shortly thereafter, Stormi Morrison was born.  She was a beautiful little girl that stole Bryan's heart.  He determined from that day to always be there for her no matter what.  He kept his promise and would move mountains for her, if he could.  She was the brightest light in a sometimes dark world.

In the evening hours of June 22nd, 2025, Bryan Keith Morrison, Sr. took his final breath while sleeping.  He has completed his life's journey and is now standing at the feet of his Father God.

Bryan Morrison was precede in death by his mother, O'Merry Simpson-Morrison, his grandmother the Late Great Missionary Mother Viola Williams-Simpson; his niece, Tyesha T. Simpson; his cousin that helped raised him in his younger years, Tenneye Rochelle Thornton; his close cousin, Reginald Terrell Walker.

Bryan leaves on earth to cherish those beautiful memories; sons, Bryan Keith Morrison, Jr. and Madarian Mims; Daughters, Niesha and Jaquala Jackson; Sister; Tiffanay Simpson-Jones; Brothers; DQ Simpson and Jack Royal Morrison; Aunts, Lizzie Jones, Baretta Fontaine and Katherine  Simpson; Uncles; Johnson Lee Simpson, Jr., Eddie J. Simpson, Teddell Simpson, Donald Raye Simpson, Sr. and Eugene Simpson.
